Jill Koontz' Bikram Yoga Boston studio is a modern loft-like space that is open and inviting. Runners, you'll find Jill's story familiar: She came to Bikram Yoga as a complement to (and eventually a replacement for) marathon running and weight training. "The pounding had taken a toll on my joints and my years as an executive at an investment management firm had tested the limits of my health and peace of mind." she writes.

The very first time I stepped into the hot room I knew I had found exactly what I needed and had been looking for from a health and fitness program. I can say, without hesitation or exaggeration, that my body and my mind are stronger and more flexible than ever before.
Two years later she became a teacher and a studio owner to provide an opportunity for anyone ready to step up to the challenge of a serious workout for the body and mind. Jill has even created a work-study program enabling those with extremely tight finances to practice Bikram Yoga regularly.

Jill and Brad have now opened a second studio, in Harvard Square, Cambridge MA. It’s a beautiful space, and they and their instructors are superb. Highly recommended.
The teachers and the studio are some of the best in the country. I’ve practiced there for over two years. They make it easy to commit to your practice. The class schedule options make it easy to find time to fit your practice in a few times a week.
I have to say this yoga studio is way over crowded. Even though I arrived at class 15 minutes before it started, I hardly got a spot and I had no room to stretch my arms and legs.
The instructor was really formulated and spoke in a fast, restless tone, non-stop for the entire 90 minutes. That gave me a headache about 30 minutes after it started and I had to suffer until the end of the class.
Although I heard a lot of good things about this studio, personally it was an overwhelming, disappointing experience.
